Redwood Percussion Ensemble: Currently during regular school day
Percussion is a fantastic way to get involved in the band program at Redwood. Percussion Fundamentals is open for students brand new to music interested in playing concert band percussion, or for students with some musical experience on other instruments who are interested in learning the fundamentals of concert percussion as well.
The Redwood Percussion Ensemble consists of all Redwood Band percussionists. These students not only rehearse music with and for full concert band, but compete and perform as their own unit in both marching and concert percussion ensembles as well. Students further develop skills, knowledge and musicianship learned in concert band and the Percussion Fundamentals class.
